WIS ANNOUNCEMENTS 


Good morning today is Thursday, October 27, 2022

        

The lunch menu for today is: Students will have the choice of  Pancakes with Syrup or a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. You will also receive Hash Browns, Yogurt, Dragon Juice and Milk

Students will also have the choice of salad bar today. 



Let’s keep Rachel’s Challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts. Make sure you recognize those students that are performing kind acts by completing a chain link for them. KCR - 24/7 - 365 



Our value word for the week is: Courteous - very polite in a way that shows respect



Margaret Chase Smith once said - “Every human being is entitled to courtesy and consideration.” 



Woodlands students do what’s right even when no one is looking. They have Integrity and work hard to create and build a safe learning environment.



The lost and found already has several items in it.  If you are missing items please stop by the lost and found and claim the items that are yours.



Today we have a special announcement. Sadly we missed custodian day but we are doing a special day today dedicated to our custodians Will, Ty and Rich.  Thank you for all of your hard work and all of the ways that you help us everyday! Woodlands is proud to celebrate our favorite and the very best custodians!! Make sure if you see them in the hallway you thank them for all they do. 




Huron Public Library Tween & Teen Announcements for Week of Sunday, October 30


Help your neighbors before the holidays and lower your late fees with Food for Fines! During the entire month of November, fines for an overdue Huron Public Library item will be waived in exchange for each donation (one unexpired or non-perishable food item per overdue item). Feel free to donate even if you don’t have fines.


Check out the LEGO Builders Club: Drop-In this fall. Drop in any time on Thursday, November 3 between 4 - 5:30 pm to see where your building imagination takes you. Creations are put on display at the Library between programs. For Kindergarten - Grade 6.


If you prefer a more strategic game, play some Chess at the Library with chess master Paul Sherwood on Saturday, November 5 at 10 am. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.


Love crocheting or want to learn how? Meet up and share current yarn projects, get help from Library staff, or just enjoy being in the company of other crafters at the NEW Stitch Niche: Crochet Club. The next meeting is on Tuesday, November 8 at 3 pm. Bring your own supplies or use ours.
