  1. Congratulations to both the girls and boys cross country teams as they won the Huron invitational this weekend. Check out the first place trophies in the showcase

Paul Murray led the boys with a time of 11 minutes 57 seconds. Achilles Figueroa had a course record as did Luke Fries. Kellen Hall had a personal record.

The girls were led by Laney Schlessman and Andrea Lesnak. Andrea had a personal record of 13 minutes and 26 seconds. CC Elliott, Peighton Burt, Kate Mueller, and Libby Shirley also had personal records.

Good luck to both teams as they close out their amazing season this Saturday at the SBC race in Tiffin.


  1. Attention Student Council members, we will meet today during 8th grade lunch in Mrs. Rowen's room. All members are expected to attend. Please bring your chrome book and something to write with.


  1. There will be a Jr. Honor Society meeting on Tuesday during 8th grade study hall - we will meet in the auditorium. Please see Mrs. Rowen or Mr. Maleski if you have any questions. Bring your chromebooks and something to write with.


  1. Ripcho Studios will be at McCormick on Wednesday, October 25, for picture retakes.  If you were absent on picture day in August, plan to have your picture taken.  Order forms are in the office if you need one. If you have received your pictures and are not happy with them, please remember to bring those with you on October 25 to give to the photographer so you may have your picture retaken.


  1. Do not go to the cafeteria in the morning unless you are eating breakfast.  If you are not purchasing breakfast, you must go to the auditorium upon arrival at school.


  1. Reminder -  you must bring your charged chromebook to school everyday.


  1. If you are missing items, please check the lost and found box located in the back of the auditorium.


  1. There is a parent/athlete meeting for Swimmers on Wednesday, October 11, at 6:00pm at McCormick.


  1. McCormick students respect their educational environment. They make sure if they see a mess or trash laying around, they do their part by helping to pick or clean it up. Whether in the cafeteria, restroom, hallway or classroom do your part and help to keep our McCormick home neat and orderly to support our learning environment..
