Zach Kuhl, Brynn Dennis, and Peighton Burt all had Personal Records and Course Records!  And, Kate Mueller and Libby Scherley had the most time dropped from their previous race!  Nice job to all runners. 1. When you are given something from someone, never insult that person by making negative comments about the gift or by insinuating that it wasn’t appreciated. No matter how big or small or how valuable the gift is, one should always say thank you and show gratitude.

  2. Congratulations to the four teams from the Huron Public Library Battle of the Books.  Two of our Huron Library teams had to go head-to-head in the semifinals to get to the final round against Bellevue. Unfortunately, Huron did not come out victorious in the final battle, but it was a great day and the students should be proud of themselves.
Helen Thaxton had a quick response during a tiebreaker to help Team 1 get to the semi finals.
