  1. Today’s lunch is Pizza Bites.
  2. If you are bringing a drink to school, it must be water onlyin a plastic or metalbottle with a lid.
  3. Attention 7th and 8th graders, McCormick Jr. Honor Society is hosting the first dance of the school year today - wear your best neon colors to show off your dance moves after school. The dance will be from 2:40-4:30 in the gym. Tickets will be sold at both lunches today and cost $5 each.
  4. McCormick Jr. Honor Society and Student Council Members, please check your google classroom for an important message about upcoming events and meetings. See Mrs. Rowen if you have any questions.
  5. Flag Football begins on Sunday, September 10, for any 6th grader at 4:30PM at Huron Memorial Stadium. Come join the fun! You can register that day if you need to. There are registration forms in the office.
  6. Please join the Huron PTO on Saturday, September 16th, for the first Huron PTO 5k Glow Run!!! There will be a 5k race, a kids fun run, and it will all finish with a Glow Party in the Woodlands Elementary Gym! Register at:HTTPS://RUNSIGNUP.COM/RACE/OH/HURON/THEHURONPTO5KGLOWRU
  7. McCormick Students are polite. McCormick Students always say thank you when they are given something or someone else does something for you. You should always show others that you appreciate what they do for you. Whether it is when you are handed a cookie in the lunch line, or if someone holds the door for you, you should always say thank you.
  8. Good luck to the Huron Battle of the Books teams that will be competing on Saturday in Milan. These students read 8 books over the summer and will be competing against other area teams.
