  1. Congratulations to the seventh grade academic challenge. Team who placed third and the eighth grade academic challenge team who placed fourth at yesterday's  competition


  1. If you see a volleyball player today, wish them GOOD LUCK in their tournaments tomorrow.  Both teams were the number one seed in their bracket!  The 7th grade has a current record of 13 wins and 3 losses.  The 8th grade is undefeated with a record of 16 wins and 0 losses.  They've worked hard this year and we wish them the best of luck tomorrow as they compete for the SBC championship!


  1. Ripcho Studios will be at McCormick on Wednesday, October 25, for picture retakes.  If you were absent on picture day in August, plan to have your picture taken.  Order forms are in the office if you need one. If you have received your pictures and are not happy with them, please remember to bring those with you on October 25 to give to the photographer so you may have your picture retaken.

Hey there, future swimmers!  We are thrilled to announce that the Huron Tigers Swim Team’s first practice of the season is just around the corner on Tuesday, October 17.  Get ready to dive into an exciting and rewarding journey with us.  Whether you are a seasoned swimmer or new to the sport, we welcome all student athletes to join us.  A school bus will leave from McCormick Middle at 5:25pm everyday, Monday through Thursday, to take swimmers to the pool.  It’s going to be an incredible season filled with growth, teamwork, and personal achievements.  Mark your calendars and don’t miss out on the start of something great.  See you there, and let’s make waves together!


  1. McCormick students respect others not only in their speech but also their actions. Students need to realize that their actions can show disrespect as well. When students tsk another person, roll their eyes, or smack their lips these are all signs of disrespect. Gestures like these are a sign of disrespect and a bad attitude. Let’s stay positive, and show respect at all times.


  1. McCormick Students - Respond to an adult when spoken to.

Are you working to stay in the game?  All students who have a 98% attendance rate for the school year have been entered into a drawing for tickets to the Cleveland Browns vs. Chicago Bears Football Game.  Congratulations to Woodlands student Stella Wlodarsky on winning the tickets. Students, keep coming to school and working to improve your attendance so that you can have a chance to win prizes throughout the year.
