  1. Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country team as they ran amazing races this Saturday for SBC. The girls team won 1st place, and the boys secured a 2nd place finish. Boys had Brady Warnike, Achilles Figueroa, and Paul Murray on the podium for the Tigers. Girls had Brynn Dennis, Allison Kohlmann, Leah Kohlmann, Andrea Lesnak, and Laney Schlessman on the podium. What an amazing finish to the season!  Check out their SBC plaques in the showcase!

Cross Country runners-

Don't forget to have your uniform clean for our pizza party tonight from 4-5 pm.


  1. If you see a seventh or eighth grade volleyball player today, tell them CONGRATULATIONS!!!  The seventh AND 8th grade volleyball teams BOTH won their SBC tournament this past weekend & brought  home  a championship trophy!!! 

A special congratulations to the 8th grade girls! They have gone their entire junior high career UNDEFEATED!!! What a remarkable accomplishment!! 

Way to go girls!!


  1. Attention 6th graders:

Are you interested in science, technology, engineering, art, and math? Well, we have a club for you! STEAM Club starts this Friday with Mr. Haplea and Mrs. LaCrosse. We meet for fun experiments, activities, and projects from 2:30-4:00 pm THIS Friday! You don't have to sign up, just show up to Room 103 at 2:30 and have a ride ready for pick up at 4:00 pm. 


  1. Ripcho Studios will be at McCormick on Wednesday, October 25, for picture retakes.  If you were absent on picture day in August, plan to have your picture taken.  Order forms are in the office if you need one. If you have received your pictures and are not happy with them, please remember to bring those with you on October 25 to give to the photographer so you may have your picture retaken.

Hey there, future swimmers!  We are thrilled to announce that the Huron Tigers Swim Team’s first practice of the season is tomorrow.  Get ready to dive into an exciting and rewarding journey with us.  Whether you are a seasoned swimmer or new to the sport, we welcome all student athletes to join us.  A school bus will leave from McCormick Middle at 5:25pm everyday, Monday through Thursday, to take swimmers to the pool.  It’s going to be an incredible season filled with growth, teamwork, and personal achievements.  Mark your calendars and don’t miss out on the start of something great.  See you there, and let’s make waves together!


  1. McCormick Students are polite. McCormick Students always say thank you when they are given something or someone else does something for you. You should always show others that you appreciate what they do for you. Whether it is when you are handed a cookie in the lunch line, or if someone holds the door for you, you should always say thank you.


  1. McCormick Students - Make eye contact when spoken to.  


  1. Are you working to stay in the game?  All students who have a 98% attendance rate for the school year have been entered into a drawing for tickets to the Cleveland Browns vs. Chicago Bears Football Game.  Congratulations to Stella Wlodarsky on winning the tickets. Students, keep coming to school and working to improve your attendance so that you can have a chance to win prizes throughout the year.
