  1. Today’s lunch is Pizza.
  2. Charged chromebooks must be brought to school everyday. Again, CHARGED CHROMEBOOKS must be brought to school everyday.
  3. If you are missing items, please check the lost and found box located in the back of the auditorium.
  4. Attention McCormick Jr. Honor Society and Student Council Members, please check google classroom for important announcements and upcoming meeting dates.
  5. Any 6th grade girl that attended volleyball camp this summer or who plays in the volleyball league this fall gets into the high school volleyball game free this Saturday. You need to wear your red fall league shirt or camp shirt to get in free. Game is at Huron High School and the freshmen start at 1.
  6. Parent-teacher conferences are Thursday, October 5th from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Parents should schedule a conference online at our website.
  7. Attention all aspiring swimmers! Join us for the student athlete meeting on Thursday, October 5th, at 2:00PM or the parent meeting on Wednesday, October 11th, to learn more and dive into the world of competitive swimming. The Huron Tigers Swim Team is gearing up for an exciting season ahead, and we want you to be part of it. Whether you are a seasoned swimmer or just starting out, our team is all about growth, teamwork, and achieving your personal best. Our first practice will be on Tuesday, October 17th, and we welcome all interested students to join us. A school bus will leave from McCormick Middle at 5:25 PM every day, Monday through Thursday, to take swimmers to the pool. No prior experience is necessary, as our dedicated coaches are here to guide you every stroke of the way. Let’s make a splash together and & Believe to Achieve!
  8. Please join us for the 12th Annual “Pink Out”. It will be a home football game on Friday, October 6th vs. the Vermilion Sailors. Place an order for a “pink out” shirt or hoodie on line at Lucky Stone. Order forms are also available in the office and must be returned to Lucky Stone. By purchasing this apparel, you are joining the effort to make breast cancer go from deadly to treatable and from treatable to preventable! All proceeds go to The Piggyback Foundation. Order deadline is OCTOBER 2nd.
  1. The Huron High School Student Council is organizing a fundraiser for Senior Meg Krafty who is battling a medical condition. If you would like to participate in the fundraiser to support Meg, you can order a #MegStrong t-shirt. Order forms are in the office. All proceeds will be donated to her family. Shirts are encouraged to be worn at the Huron vs. Clyde football game on Friday, October 13.
  2. McCormick Students are polite. McCormick Students always say thank you when they are given something or someone else does something for you. You should always show others that you appreciate what they do for you. Whether it is when you are handed an item in the lunch line, or if someone holds the door for you, you should always say thank you.
  3. McCormick Students - make sure you hold the door for people rather than letting it close on them.
