  1.  Today’s lunch is Pizza.


  1. Please join us for the 12th Annual “Pink Out”.   It will be a home football game on Friday, October 6th vs. the Vermilion Sailors.  Place an order for a “pink out” shirt or hoodie on line at Lucky Stone.  Order forms are also available in the office and must be returned to Lucky Stone.  By purchasing this apparel, you are joining the effort to make breast cancer go from deadly to treatable and from treatable to preventable!  All proceeds go to The Piggyback Foundation.  Order deadline is OCTOBER 2nd.


  1. The Huron High School Student Council is organizing a fundraiser for Senior Meg Krafty who is battling a medical condition.  If you would like to participate in the fundraiser to support Meg, you can order a #MegStrong t-shirt.  Order forms are in the office.  All proceeds will be donated to her family.  Shirts are encouraged to be worn at the Huron vs. Clyde football game on Friday, October 13.


  1. If you are going on the St. Peter retreat, a permission slip needs to be turned into the office so the absence will be excused.


  1. Interim grades will be sent home with students today.


  1. Parent-teacher conferences are Tuesday, September 26th from 3:00pm-6:00pm and Thursday, October 5th from 3:00pm-7:00pm.  Parents should schedule a conference online at our website.


  1. Any 8th grade student council member or honor society member who wants to run for office should email Mrs. Rowen by the end of the day today.


  1. Today's theme for spirit week is 80s day. The winning homerooms will be announced at the end of the day. 


  1. Attention all students who plan to attend any home athletic contest or away contest at other Sandusky Bay Conference schools. We would like to remind you of our expectations for you regarding your behavior while at the contest supporting our athletes.

  • All students are required to follow the expectations that are in the student handbook.

  • All students who are in attendance need to be in their seat while the game is in progress.

  • Profanity, taunting, trash talking, or heckling of players or other spectators will result in immediate removal from the game and disciplinary actions will be taken.

  • Students are not permitted to bring skateboards or footballs into the game.

     Students who fail to follow these rules could be subject to removal from the contest.


  1. When you’re in a discussion during class or working in a group, uplift the ideas of others. If someone has a great idea, tell them how much you like it in front of everyone! You’re being kind by encouraging them among peers. This will give them a self-esteem boost and bring the best thoughts to the top.
