Kindergarten & Preschool Screening:

Huron City Schools will conduct registration and screening for in-coming Kindergarten/Preschool children on April 4, 6 & 7. The screening will take place at the Huron United Methodist Church, 338 Williams St.
Parents are asked to call Shawnee School from March 15 – March 17. Please call 419-433-1826 between 9 am to 3 pm to reserve a time for your child's screening. (Screening dates and times will not be scheduled prior to March 15)
Parents are asked to accompany their child to the screening and must bring the child's original birth certificate, immunization records, a current electric bill along with one additional proof of residency, and custody papers (if applicable). These items are required to complete registration.
KINDERGARTEN PARENTS:
Eligible kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 30, 2017. Enrollment packets will be given to parents to be filled out on the screening dates in April. No packets will be handed out prior to April 4.
PRESCHOOL PARENTS:
Eligible preschool students must be 3 years old by September 30, 2017. Enrollment packets will be available beginning March 15 in Shawnee's office. The completed packets must be returned to the school by March 30.
