1. Parent Teacher Conferences are on Tuesday, February 21st from 5:00-8:00.

2. Wednesday, February 1st, letters were given to students who qualify to apply for potential membership in the McCormick Junior Honor Society. If you have any questions, or a cumulative G.P.A of 3.5 or higher and did not receive a letter, please see Mr. Carter or Mrs. Aber. The completed student activity information form and essay must be turned in to the office by Wednesday, February 15th.

3. Today is the last day to order carnations during lunch. The cost is $1 per carnation, and flowers will be delivered on Valentine's Day.

4. Are you good at drawing cartoons? If so, pick up a form from Mrs. Brown to draw your own original cartoon for the school newspaper. The cartoon will be due by Monday, Feb. 13th to Mrs. Brown and the winner will have their cartoon put in the next school newspaper.

5. Student council will be selling tickets Tuesday - Thursday for the first dance of 2017. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at both lunches. Due to no school on Friday, Feb. 17th, the dance is Thursday, Feb. 16th from 2:45 - 4:30. Come show off your moves and celebrate a long weekend.

6. Power of the Pen will be meeting today after school.
