BigSun SCHOLARSHIP – $500 scholarship available to high school seniors planning to attend a
post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that
institution or in the community. Stop

3. Attention all Seniors: Honor cord applications are available in the
Guidance Office NOW! You will need to attach a copy of your unofficial
transcript to each application. All applications are due by Friday, Feb. 19, at 2:45pm. 4. Attention all students who are 16 and older: There is presently a Blood
Emergency in our area, and NHS is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive
next Wednesday, Feb. 24
with appointments from 8-1. NHS members will be scheduling potential
donors during study halls and at lunch. Please give the gift of life
and donate blood! See Mrs. Merckens or James Faunda with questions.
5. There will be a mandatory informational parent meeting on Tuesday, March 1, at 7pm in the high school cafeteria for those interested in trying out for football cheerleading.
6. Signups for the Huron Baseball Softball program will be held at the Huron Eagles on Sunday, February 21 and Sunday, March 6 from 1-4pm. If you are interested in participating, please stop by the high school office for more information.
7. Lunch today is macaroni & cheese or a toasted Italian sub.
