1. Friday, September 30th there will be a Spaghetti Dinner at Huron High School Cafeteria from 4:30-7:00pm prior to the Homecoming football game against Vermilion. The cost is $5.00 for Adults and $3.00 for kids. Proceeds support the Citizens for Huron Schools.

2. Huron PTO will be collecting box tops this year. Funds from the Box Tops collected at McCormick will be used here at McCormick to possibly buy books, equipment or classroom supplies. Put your box tops in a bag with your name and homeroom on it and give them to your first period teacher or drop them off in the office.

3. Spirit week is this week. Today is mismatched day. Tomorrow is twin day. See your homeroom teacher for the flier with the list of every day's theme.

4. Students are not allowed to bring bags to 9th period class. The only time students should have a bag with them is in the morning classes if they are coming/going to PE class or if they are on crutches and need it.

5. The Huron Tiger Football program is encouraging the students to help raise awareness and money for The American Cancer Society with a "Crucial Catch" event on Friday, October 14th. We would like to have a "Pink Out" at school and at the football game on Friday, October 14th. Forms for the purchase of the t-shirts are in the office. The sale runs today through Tuesday, October 4th.

6. Support the HHS Boys Golf team at Jim’s Pizza Box on Tuesday, September 27. A Portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated to the HHS Boys Golf Team. Doors open at 4:00!

7. Way to go, cross country teams! Both boys and girls teams scored well at the Fremont Invitational. The girls finished 4th place, and the boys brought home a trophy for 2nd place! Congratulations. Top runners were Victoria Eytchison, Maddie McCall, Maggie Golling, and Makayla Koelsch. Personal records were earned by Maddie, McKena Muratori, Elle Foster, and Chloe Pfeiffer. Top boy finishers were Nick Pack, Walker Blevins, Aiden Kastor, and Salvador Sherer. Personal records by Joey Lowy and Brendan Kleist were earned as well. Keep working hard runners as we look forward to the Fostoria Invite and the SBC.

8. Attention all 8th grade students: You must have your permission form for the field trip to EHOVE turned into your homeroom teacher by today!
