HURON HIGH SCHOOL
ANNOUNCEMENTS - TUESDAY, APRIL 25, 2017

1.  Due to end of course testing in Biology, HHS will be operating on a 2-hour delay schedule this Wednesday, (4/26).  Juniors and Seniors who arrive early will need to wait in the cafeteria until the ringing of the bell at 9:15am.

All students taking the Biology End of Course test on Wednesday morning need to bring their own headphones.  We will have a limited supply of headphones for students to use, so if you would like to use them, you need to bring your own. 

2.  Juniors who went on the class trip:  Please stop by the high school office to pick up your group photo.

3.  All juniors and seniors interested in attending the after prom must submit a waiver form signed by your parents. Forms should be submitted when purchasing tickets. Forms are available in the office or with Mrs. Sadowski.

4.  Attention all students going on the trip to Europe in 2018:  If you have your order forms and money from the fundraising sale, you should turn it in to Mrs. Arambula by tomorrow. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Arambula.

We would like to wish Michael Stout, Matt Bores, Michael Willet, and Ehove’s Mavericks Robotics Team 2252 GOOD LUCK as they head to St. Louis Missouri on Wednesday!  The team is competing in the FRC World Robotics competition along with 200 other teams.  If you want to find out more information about the Mavericks Robotics Team and watch a live feed of the competition on Friday and Saturday, check them out on Facebook at FRC Team 2252- The Mavericks.

Tigerette tryouts will be held Wednesday, April 26 thru Friday, April 28th.  Please plan to meet in the high school band room.

7.  Tickets for the Musical will be on sale during lunch all week. They are $10 each.

8.  A meeting will be held at 7:30pm in the cafeteria on Wednesday for all boys interested in playing soccer next year.

9.  From the Huron Public Library: 
The Friends of the Huron Public Library are seeking students to assist in the setup and teardown of the Library book sale. The Friends are offering $8 per hour to 5-10 students for 3-6 hours of work. Eligible students must be 15 years or older, able to lift 50 pounds, and be available on Thursday, June 1, at 9am, and/or Monday, June 5, at 9am. Interested students are invited to meet with the Friends Executive Board at the Huron Library on May 15 at 3:30 pm.

10.  Lunch today is a cheeseburger.
