1. Attention seventh grade girls: Are you involved in our community? Would you like the opportunity to represent HURON and be a positive role model for others while participating in the 2016 Huron River Fest Jr. Queen Contest? Applications are currently being accepted and must be postmarked by June 3, 2016. For more information regarding participation and an application, please log on to: Huronriverfest.com.

2. Attention eighth grade girls: Are you involved in our community? Would you like the opportunity to represent HURON through your leadership skills and be a positive role model for others while participating in the 2016 Huron River Fest Queens’ Contest? A $500 scholarship is available to this year’s Queen upon graduation. Applications are currently being accepted and must be postmarked by June 3, 2016. 3. If you were invited to the Academic Dinner, your money is due to the office.

4. The Cafeteria will not be allowing charges for the remainder of this school year. Please be sure you have money on your lunch account.

5. All student library books are due in the library this week for inventory. Thank you from the library.

6. Clean track uniforms will be collected today after school in Mr. Maleski’s room #108.

7. Attention 8th graders who are interested in running for Student Council for the high school, your speeches are due to Mrs. Rowen by Thursday. Voting will take place Friday.

8. Attention 8th grade students interested in high school cross-country next year. There will be a brief meeting this Thursday during study hall. Please plan on attending to receive important information regarding summer practices and the upcoming season.
