1. The admission at Jr. High track meets this year will be $2 for students and senior citizens and $3 for adults. Please let your friends and family know if they are planning to attend.

2. Teen Library Council members must stop by the Huron Public Library by April 15 to pick up a permission slip for the after-hours event on Friday, April 29 if they plan to attend.

3. Teens interested in learning meditation are invited to a free "Introduction to Meditation" class on Wednesday, April 13 at 6:30 pm at the Huron Public Library. Brian Henderson of Open Way Yoga Studio will lead this. Registration is required.

4. Statewide testing begins on Monday, April 11th. On Monday, all students should report to their homerooms/testing areas. All testing will begin approximately at 7:40am, so please make sure that you get to school on time.

Students are allowed to bring the following into the testing area:
- #2 Pencils
- A light snack
- A non-carbonated drink no larger than 20 ounces and have a lid.
- A fictional book to read after testing is completed.

Students are not allowed to bring the following into the testing area:
- Electronic devices
- Mechanical pencils
- Homework or class work
