  1. Today’s lunch is Chicken.


  1. Chromebooks are not to be brought to the cafeteria during lunch.


  1. 7th graders interested in learning how to create the yearbook, go to Mr. Maleski’s room during lunch today.  8th graders can come today during their study hall if they have the permission from their homeroom teacher.


  1. There will be a Junior Honor Society meeting on Tuesday in Mr. Maleski's room during 8th grade study hall. All members should attend.


  1. Student Council will be taking orders for carnations on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during all 3 lunches. The cost is $2 per carnation, and the flowers will be delivered on February 14.


  1. Students interested in the Huron Softball Clinic should stop by the office for a registration form.  Deadline for registration is Friday, February 9.  Clinics start on February 25.


  1. Saturday mornings in February, EHOVE has Youth Enrichment Programs.  Register online at ehove.net through Tuesday, January 30th. Register early.  Class size is limited.   Information is available online at ehove.net and brochures are available in the office.


  1. McCormick students respect the opinion of others whether they agree with the other person or not. During a discussion, you should respect the other students’ comments, opinions, and ideas. Listen to their thoughts attentively and do not interrupt until they have finished their entire thought. At no time do McCormick Students put down or make fun of another student for their opinion, thought or idea that they share. 


  1. McCormick students, no matter the circumstances, always be honest. 


  1. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.  


  1. Reminder to all students that cell phones are to remain in your locker during the school day.
