  1. Today’s lunch is Popcorn Chicken.


  1. There will be a Jr. Honor Society meeting today during 8th grade study hall. The meeting will take place in Mr. Maleski's room. Please bring your Secret Santa form if you want to participate. You will get this form from Mrs. Rowen or Mrs. Smith today.


  1. 8th grade girls beat Sandusky last night 47-23. Adelelyn Vansickle scored 17 points along with Grace Knight and Reece Hotz who both scored in double figures. Lizzie Perin and Ly’anna Broughton rounded out the scoring for the Tigers. 


  1. 7th grade beat Sandusky 46-7.  Lauren LaCivita scored 24 points, Adelle Bauer 6. 


  1. Join Mr. Haplea and Mrs. LaCrosse for steam club tomorrow to create gifts for the holidays. We will be using science, technology, and art to make some unique gifts. Everyone is welcome to attend. The meeting will be held in Mr. Haplea‘s room and will go from 2:25 PM to 4 PM. Again, join us for steam club on Friday in Mr. Haplea‘s room.


  1. Attention Students and Staff:

Student Council will collect Chemo Care Package items from Wednesday, November 29th until Friday, December 15th.  Please bring in new items to your homeroom class for the kids who are battling cancer at Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. The winning homeroom class in each grade will be given a reward after Christmas break! Teachers will have forms posted by the end of the day.


  1. If you are planning to take extra days off for Christmas, a vacation form needs to be completed and turned in to the school office.


  1. McCormick Students show respect to adults. They always respond to adults by saying things like “yes ma’am” or “no sir.” Just nodding your head or saying any other form of yes or no is not acceptable.   


  1. Flu and Cold Season is here!!!  Help keep your classmates healthy by:

  • Washing your hands often, especially before eating and after sneezing or coughing.  

  • Keeping your hands away from your eyes, ears, nose and mouth.  

  • Using good cough etiquette by coughing and sneezing into your sleeve or a kleenex rather than your hands.
