1.
There will be a brief meeting after school in Room 104 on Tuesday, December 4 at 2:30PM for football players in Grades 9-11 to sign up for Salvation Army bell ringing. Please see Coach Hohler if you have any questions.
2. This year's Spring Musical will be "The Little Mermaid". Audition information is available in the main office and the choir room. There will be a brief informational meeting for all those planning to audition on Friday, December 8th, right after school.
3. Congratulations to the finalist in the 2023 Yearbook Cover Contest. The finalists are:

4. TLC is teaming up to support the Chemo Care Package campaign, organized by former Huron High School sisters Abi and Hannah Miller. Items can be donated now through December 15th. Please bring in new items to your 5th period class for the kids who are battling cancer at Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. The winning 5th period class will be given a reward after Christmas break!
5. The Browns Backers are hosting a bowling fundraiser on Sunday, 12/3, at 2pm at Riverview Lanes. All proceeds will benefit the family of Meg Krafty.
6. Dr. Tatman is seeking students interested in serving on a Superintendent Advisory Council. The purpose of the council is to enable students to share perspective on the experiences of Huron City Schools. The commitment is a three meeting series occurring during the school day. The meetings will rotate time of day to avoid missing a single class multiple times. All who submit will be considered. Strong candidates are students who can share perspectives of the school, representing classmates' diverse interests and experiences. Please submit your interest on the google form sent to your school email.
Submit by the end of the school day November 30, 2023.
7. Reminder to those going on the Jr Class trip, your second payment is due this week.
