Reminder: If you are absent, arrive at school after 8:00am, or leave during the school day, you can not participate in extracurricular activities without a medical excuse.
There is no school next week: November 20-24
If you are planning to take extra days off for Thanksgiving or Christmas, a vacation form needs to be completed and turned in to the school office.
If you win or do well at something, do not brag. If you lose, or do poorly at something do not show anger. Instead McCormick Students say something like, “I really enjoyed the competition, and I look forward to playing against you again,” or “Good Game,” or don’t say anything at all. To show anger or sarcasm, such as “I wasn’t playing hard anyway. You really aren’t that good,” shows weakness. McCormick Students always treat each other with respect. Remember if you do not have something nice to say then don’t say anything at all.
McCormick students if someone drops something and you are close to it, pick it up.
7. Students are reminded that the school rules prohibit the chewing of gum in school. There has been an increase in the amount of gum being found on the floors and other surfaces in the building.
