In honor of Friday's veterans day program, McCormick Jr. Honor Society is asking 6th grade students and staff to wear red, 7th grade students and staff to wear white, and 8th grade students and staff to wear blue.
The following students are recycling today: Hadley Barkema, Lauren LaCivita, and Blaire Johnson. Please see Mrs. Rowen for the recycling sheet at the beginning of your study hall.
Attention McCormick Jr. Honor Society members who have a part in Friday' veterans day program, please see Mrs. Rowen or Mr. Maleski today.
Steam club is this Friday in Mr. Haplea’s room. We will meet from 2:30 to 4 PM. See you there.
Tomorrow will be the first meeting for the ROX girls group. We will meet in the band room. The 7th grade girls will meet during 1st period. The 8th grade girls will meet during 2nd period. Please check in with your teacher before coming to ROX.
The BROX boys group will meet on Friday. 8th grade boys will meet during 4th period in the art room. 7th grade will meet during 5th period in the art room.
Cheer tryouts for grades 7 & 8 are on Saturday, November 11, at Woodlands from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Forms are available in the office. All paperwork must be completed and turned in on the day of tryouts.
McCormick Students show respect to adults. They always respond to adults by saying things like “yes ma’am” or “no sir.” Just nodding your head or saying any other form of yes or no is not acceptable.
McCormick students, after dining in the cafeteria or elsewhere, are responsible for your trash and making sure the area in which you eat is picked up.
Students are reminded that the school rules prohibit the chewing of gum in school. There has been an increase in the amount of gum being found on the floors and other surfaces in the building.
