In honor of Friday's veterans day program, McCormick Jr. Honor Society is asking 6th grade students and staff to wear red, 7th grade students and staff to wear white, and 8th grade students and staff to wear blue.

Steam club meets tomorrow in Mr. Haplea’s room. We will meet from 2:30 to 4:00 PM. See you there.

Today will be the first meeting for the ROX girls group. We will meet in the band room. The 7th grade girls will meet during 1st period. The 8th grade girls will meet during 2nd period. Please check in with your teacher before coming to ROX. 

The BROX boys group will meet tomorrow. 8th grade boys will meet during 4th period in the art room. 7th grade will meet during 5th period in the art room.

Cheer tryouts for grades 7 & 8 are on Saturday, November 11, at Woodlands from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.  Forms are available in the office.  All paperwork must be completed and turned in on the day of tryouts.

McCormick students respect the opinion of others whether they agree with the other person or not. During a discussion, you should respect the other students’ comments, opinions, and ideas. Listen to their thoughts attentively and do not interrupt until they have finished their entire thought.

McCormick students always face forward when riding on a bus.

Students are reminded that the school rules prohibit the chewing of gum in school.  There has been an increase in the amount of gum being found on the floors and other surfaces in the building.
