  1. Today’s lunch is Chicken Tenders.


  1. If you are missing items like school supplies, clothing, water bottles or lunch boxes, please check the lost and found located outside of the auditorium.


  1. Show your holiday spirit during spirit week: Today, wear white and blue.  tomorrow, rock your favorite holiday socks and hat.


  1. Reminder - school fees are due.


  1. If you are planning to take extra days off for Winter Break, a vacation form needs to be completed and turned in to the school office.


  1. Winter Break is from December 21 - January 2.


  1. On December 20th there is an early dismissal at 1:20pm.


  1. McCormick students respect the opinion of others whether they agree with the other person or not. During a discussion, you should respect the other students’ comments, opinions, and ideas. Listen to their thoughts attentively and do not interrupt until they have finished their entire thought. At no time do McCormick Students put down or make fun of another student for their opinion, thought or idea that they share.


  1. McCormick students keep themselves and the bathroom clean and germ-free.


  1. McCormick students when walking to or from the school campus you are to remain on the public sidewalks.  Walking through private property is disrespectful to the property owners if you have not received permission from them first.  Please stay on the public sidewalks and show our neighbors respect.  


  1. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.  


  1. The end of the quarter is about 3 weeks away.  Our quarterly attendance competition is close again this quarter. The average daily attendance for the three grades are 95%, 94% and 94%.  The race is very tight with the 6th grade in a slight lead.  Stay in the game and come to school each day.  Last quarter the 6th grade won. Who will it be this quarter?  


  1. Let’s remember McCormick Students are kind, compassionate and respectful. So during this Holiday Season please remember that this season is truly about giving. Not receiving. It’s not about getting the biggest present or the newest fashions or electronics. It is about giving to others, our family, our close friends or just those in need in our community. It’s not about the price tag on the item but that it comes from your heart. Please, let’s not lose the meaning of this Holiday Season.
