  2. Please check the lost and found for missing items.

  3. Student Council is sponsoring a Get Ready for the Test Coloring Contest for the month of April.  Coloring sheets may be picked up in the office between class or before study hall and are due by April 30.. Once you have completed the paper, return it to the office with your name and grade written on the back. The top 3 winners in each grade will receive a prize. 
 
  1. Attention 8th grade students, Student Council is taking orders for Class of 2028 t-shirts. The deadline to order a shirt is this Friday. See Mrs. Rowen if you need another order form.

  2. There will be a football skills camp for 6th grade (soon to be 7th grade) students on Tuesdays from April 23 to May 21 from 2:45pm-3:45pm at McCormick.  Dress as you would for gym class - no cleats.  Bring your own water bottle.

  3. State Testing next week:  Tuesday Apr 30 and Thursday May 2 for Math
            Make sure to bring your charged chromebook and charger.  During the testing period  students are not permitted to have communication devices in the testing room, this includes  smart watches.  These will need to be placed in your locker during the testing period.
  1. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by

  2. When you are given something from someone, never insult that person by making negative comments about the gift or by insinuating that it wasn’t appreciated. No matter how big or small or how valuable the gift is, one should always say thank you and show gratitude.

  3. McCormick students, if you bump into someone in the hallways, say excuse me, even if it was not your fault.  

  4. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.
 
  1. Stay in the Game - keep coming to school and make sure you are working hard to be the best me you can be.
