  1. Today’s lunch is Pizza.

  1. There will be a STEAM Club meeting today after school in Mr. Haplea’s room.

  2. Attention 8th grade students, Student Council is taking orders for Class of 2028 t-shirts. The deadline to order a shirt is today.  If you are ordering a class of 2028 shirt, please take your money and order form to Mrs. Rowen after the pledge.

  3. State Testing next week:  Tuesday Apr 30 and Thursday May 2 for Math.
Make sure to bring your charged chromebook and charger.  During the testing period students are not permitted to have communication devices in the testing room, this includes smart watches.  These will need to be placed in your locker during the testing period.

  1. Student Council is sponsoring a Get Ready for the Test Coloring Contest for the month of April.  Coloring sheets may be picked up in the office between class or before study hall and are due by April 30. Once you have completed the paper, return it to the office with your name and grade written on the back. The top 3 winners in each grade will receive a prize.

  2. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.

  3. McCormick students respect the opinion of others whether they agree with the other person or not. During a discussion, you should respect the other students’ comments, opinions, and ideas. Listen to their thoughts attentively and do not interrupt until they have finished their entire thought. At no time do McCormick Students put down or make fun of another student for their opinion, thought or idea that they share.

  4. McCormick students always answer your phone in a polite and appropriate manner. You never can be sure who may be calling you.  

  5. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.
 
  1. Stay in the Game - keep coming to school and make sure you are working hard to be the best me you can be.
