1. Today’s lunch is Taco.

2. Do not go to the cafeteria in the morning unless you are purchasing a breakfast.   

3. Reminder to all students - if you are not at school by 8:00am or if you are absent for the day, you can not participate in after school activities unless you were physically at the doctor/dentist and have a medical excuse stating that.

4. Reminder to all students: Cell phones are to remain in your locker during the school day. Hoods are not to be worn up on your head.

5. Any notes for the office, payments, or physicals, should be brought to the office at the beginning of first period.

6. The 6th grade small groups will meet during the following times today:

Girls Group A - 3rd period in the band room

Girls Group B - 4th period in the art room (bring your lunch)

26th grade BROX - 5th period in the art room

7. STEAM Club will meet this Friday in Mr. Haplea’s room.

8. If you are interested in taking CCP classes for this summer or next school year, you need to turn in your CCP Letter of Intent to Ms. T. by April 1.

9. McCormick yearbooks are on sale!  The deadline to order a yearbook is April 11th.  Order online at ybpay.lifetouch.com using code 14845924 or turn in your order form with a check made payable to McCormick. 

10. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.

11. If you win or do well at something, do not brag. If you lose, or do poorly at something do not show anger. To show anger or sarcasm, such as “I wasn’t playing hard,” or “you really aren’t that good,” shows weakness. McCormick Students always treat each other with respect. Remember if you do not have something nice to say then don’t say anything at all.      

12. McCormick students when traveling through the hallways keep to the right so everyone is able to get to class quickly and safely. 

13. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.

14. Make sure you are coming to school each day and working hard to become the best person you can be. Stay In The Game!!! So far this quarter the attendance competition is still close.  6th grade is at 95.34%, 7th grade is at 95.27%  and 8th grade is at 94.8%. With only 3 weeks left in the quarter this is going to be a really close race. 7th grade has pulled to within 7 hundredths of a percent of the 6th grade.  Great job, keep coming to school and working hard to be the best me you can be.
