Attention McCormick Junior Honor Society members, there will be a meeting on Wednesday in Mr. Maleski's room during 8th grade study hall for all current members who are interested in tutoring. Please see Mrs. Rowen or Mr. Maleski if you have any questions.

Interim grades will be handed out during homerooms on Thursday.

School is not in session on Friday, February 16 and Monday, February 19.

Parent-Teacher conferences are on Tuesday, February 20, from 3:00-6:00pm and on Thursday, February 29, from 3:00-7:00pm.  Parents received an email through Final Forms from Mr. Doughty with a link to sign up for conferences.  The sign up scheduler can also be found on our website.

There will be a short meeting on Tuesday, February 20 at 2:00 for 8th graders interested in playing football next year at the High School.  Please wait to be called down.

Football and Basketball cheer tryouts for incoming 7th – 8th graders will be Monday, March 4th at Huron High School Gymnasium from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

McCormick yearbooks are on sale!  The deadline to order one is April 11th.  Order online at ybpay.com using code 14845924 or by check made payable to McCormick turned in with the order form. Order forms are being passed out today.

Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.

McCormick Students show respect to adults. They always respond to adults by saying things like “yes ma’am” or “no sir.” Just nodding your head or saying any other form of yes or no is not acceptable.  

McCormick Students, keep yourself and the bathroom clean and germ-free.  

Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.
