  1. Today’s lunch is Grilled Cheese.


  1. Reminder to all students that cell phones are to remain in your locker during the school day.   


  1. 8th grade boys basketball players - game and practice jerseys are to be washed and turned in today!


  1. There will be a Student Council meeting today during 8th grade lunch.


  1. Interim grades will be handed out during homerooms on Thursday.


  1. School is not in session on Friday, February 16 and Monday, February 19.


  1. Parent-Teacher conferences are on Tuesday, February 20, from 3:00-6:00pm and on Thursday, February 29, from 3:00-7:00pm.  Parents received an email through Final Forms from Mr. Doughty with a link to sign up for conferences.  The sign up scheduler can also be found on our website.


  1. There will be a short meeting on Tuesday, February 20 at 2:00 for 8th graders interested in playing football next year at the High School.  Please wait to be called down.


  1. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.


  1. McCormick students choose to do what’s right even when no one is looking. They have Integrity and know the best way is the right way. 

    

  1. When a substitute teacher is present, all class rules still apply.   


  1. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.   


  1. Make sure you are coming to school each day and working hard to become the best person you can be. Stay In The Game!!! This quarter has all three grade levels tied with a  99% attendance rate. Great job, keep coming to school and working hard to be the best me you can be. 


  1. Great Job Winter Sports athletes. We had a very successful winter. Both swim teams finished in 4th place, Wrestling finished in the middle of the conference with an individual champion, and in basketball the 8th grade girls along with the 7th and 8th grade boys finished in the top four and the 7th grade girls finished in 2nd place on Saturday.
