  1. Today’s lunch is Popcorn Chicken.


  1. Do not go to the cafeteria in the morning unless you are purchasing a breakfast.   


  1. Reminder to all students - if you are not at school by 8:00am or if you are absent for the day, you can not participate in after school activities unless you were physically at the doctor/dentist and have a medical excuse stating that.


  1. Reminder to all students: Cell phones are to remain in your locker during the school day. Hoods are not to be worn up on your head.


  1. Any notes for the office, payments, or physicals, should be brought to the office at the beginning of first period.


  1. There is no tutoring after school today. Any Jr. Honor Society students interested in tutoring, please email Mr. Maleski.


  1. Next Friday marks the end of the 3rd quarter grading period.  Please make sure fees are paid to avoid your grade card from being withheld.


  1. If you are interested in taking CCP classes for this summer or next school year, you need to turn in your CCP Letter of Intent to Ms. T. by April 1.


  1. McCormick yearbooks are on sale!  The deadline to order a yearbook is April 11th.  Order online at ybpay.lifetouch.com using code 14845924 or turn in your order form with a check made payable to McCormick. 


  1. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.


  1. McCormick students respect others not only in their speech but also their actions. Students need to realize that their actions can show disrespect as well. When students tsk another person, roll their eyes, or smack their lips these are all signs of disrespect. Gestures like these are a sign of disrespect and a bad attitude. Let’s stay positive, and show respect at all times.      

    

  1. McCormick students make sure you always respond to an adult when spoken to. 


  1. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.


  1. Make sure you are coming to school each day and working hard to become the best person you can be. Stay In The Game!!! So far this quarter the attendance competition is still close.  6th grade is at 95.1%, 7th grade is at 94.6%  and 8th grade is at 93.4%. With only 3 weeks left in the quarter this is going to be a really close race. 7th grade has pulled to within 5 hundredths of a percent of the 6th grade.  Great job, keep coming to school and working hard to be the best me you can be.
