  1. Today’s lunch is Chicken.


  1. 8th grade students should be in their homerooms at this time.


  1. This week:  When entering the building in the morning, please go to the gym to wait for the bell unless you are purchasing a breakfast in the cafeteria.


  1. Please check the lost and found in front of the auditorium for missing items - Lunch boxes, water bottles, clothes, school supplies


  1. Friday marks the end of the 3rd quarter grading period.  Please make sure fees are paid to avoid your grade card from being withheld.


  1. STEAM Club will meet this Friday after school.


  1. Remember, if you are taking extra time off during spring break, a vacation form needs to be turned in and approved by Mr. Doughty.


  1. If you are interested in taking CCP classes for this summer or next school year, you need to turn in your CCP Letter of Intent to Ms. T. by April 1.


  1. On Wednesday, Coach Schaeffer and Coach Lobsinger will be here around lunches to meet with girls in grades 6, 7 and 8 that are interested in playing basketball next year.  The meeting should only take about 5 min.  6th grade girls will meet at 12:05, 7th grade girls at 12:15 and 8th grade girls at 12:25. The meetings will be in room 205 the health room. 


  1. McCormick yearbooks are on sale!  The deadline to order a yearbook is April 11th.  Order online at ybpay.lifetouch.com using code 14845924 or turn in your order form with a check made payable to McCormick. 


  1. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.


  1. McCormick students choose to do what’s right even when no one is looking. They have Integrity and know the best way is the right way. 


  1. McCormick students do not show disrespect towards others with gestures. 


  1. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.


  1. Make sure you are coming to school each day and working hard to become the best person you can be. Stay In The Game!!! So far this quarter the attendance competition is very close.  6th grade is at 94.3%, 7th grade is at 94.1%  and 8th grade is at 92.5%. With this being the last week left in the quarter this is going to be a really close race. Make sure you are here every day this week to help your class in the attendance award this quarter.   Great job, keep coming to school and working hard to be the best me you can be.
