Today’s lunch is French Toast Sticks.

This week:  When entering the building in the morning, please go to the gym to wait for the bell unless you are purchasing a breakfast in the cafeteria.

Please check the lost and found in front of the auditorium for missing items - Lunch boxes, water bottles, clothes, school supplies. 

All 6th grade small groups will meet today in the art room. Girls Group A will meet during 5th period. Girls group B will meet during 6th period. BROX will meet during 7th period.

Ms. Jackson is taking ticket reservations during the lunch periods today and tomorrow. Students can come to the gym during their lunch to reserve their tickets for the Little Mermaid!

7th grade ROX will meet on Friday in the band room during 1st period. 8th grade ROX will meet on Friday in the band room during 2nd period.

Friday marks the end of the 3rd quarter grading period.  Please make sure fees are paid to avoid your grade card from being withheld.

STEAM Club will meet this Friday after school.

Remember, only students riding the bus home at the end of the day are permitted to leave the building or be in the hallways at the 2:20 bell.  Students that are parent pick-up, walking or riding their bike are not to exit their 7th period class until the 2:25 bell.

If you are interested in taking CCP classes for this summer or next school year, you need to turn in your CCP Letter of Intent to Ms. T. by April 1.

Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.

McCormick students respect the opinion of others whether they agree with the other person or not. During a discussion, you should respect the other students’ comments, opinions, and ideas. Listen to their thoughts attentively and do not interrupt until they have finished their entire thought. At no time do McCormick Students put down or make fun of another student for their opinion, thought or idea that they share. 

McCormick when you receive a gift no matter how big or small, do not insult the gift or the giver. Always show appreciation and say thank you. 

Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.

Make sure you are coming to school each day and working hard to become the best person you can be. Stay In The Game!!! So far this quarter the attendance competition is very close.  6th grade is at 94.3%, 7th grade is at 94.1%  and 8th grade is at 92.5%. With this being the last week left in the quarter this is going to be a really close race. Make sure you are here every day this week to help your class in the attendance award this quarter.   Great job, keep coming to school and working hard to be the best me you can be.
