1. National Junior Honor Society will hold a brief meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 14, after school in Mrs. Aber's room, 104.

2. The Huron Public Library has game nights twice each month on a Tuesday at 6 pm. The October game nights feature "Magic: The Gathering.” The next meeting will be October 21.

3. Today, after school, will be the first full length Power of the Pen meeting. You will meet in Mrs. Aber's room after school to about 3:20. Your transportation arrangement should  already be planned. Mrs. Aber hopes to see all of last year's writers, and a new crop of seventh graders who like to write and have fun.
