1. This Friday marks the end of the second quarter. Grade cards will be withheld until fees are paid. Obligations will be observed throughout the school year.

2. This Friday, Amy Renner, Program Manager, from McGraw Hill, will be our Future Friday’s presenter. Students are reminded to check in with study hall and wait to be called to the auditorium.

3. Power of the Pen members – Please stop by Mrs. Aber’s room to pick up a t-shirt order form. Mrs. Aber would like them turned in as soon as possible.

4. STEAM Club will meet on January 16th at 2:45 - 4:15 in Mr. Haplea’s room. Dylan Dragstedt is scheduled to work concessions for the basketball game today. One more member is needed to work. If you are interested, please see Mrs. James.

5. Love reading? Join a book club at the Huron Public Library!
The Cover to Cover book group will be meeting on Sunday, January 27th at 3pm for grades 7 & 8.

The Huron Public Library will be hosting a Teen Pizza Party for grades 7-12 on Tuesday, January 8 after school from 3-4 pm. Drop by and grab a free slice!  Game Night is also on Tuesday, January 8 at 6 pm. This session features the game Takenoko, where players compete to feed a giant panda!

A Teen Talk session will be held at the Library on Friday, January 11 at 3:30 pm. Any student in grades 7-12 can come to this program to discuss depression or anxiety with a professional counselor for free.
