1. Students are reminded to turn in the paperwork that was mailed home: Vaccination records for 7th grade, acceptable use policy, emergency medical and photo release.
2. The Huron Public Library invites all students in grades 7 - 12 to a welcome back pizza and pop celebration today from 3 - 4 pm. Drop in and say hi and get a piece of pie!
3. Fall Sports pictures will be taken today after school. First will be Volleyball and Cross-Country right after school at McCormick then Cheer and Football will be at the stadium.
4. Reminder to students going to the Library, Gathering Grounds, or other destinations after school: Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not cut through yards. Please use the sidewalks and go around the block.
5. Reminder that students must be at school by 7:59 in order to participate in extracurricular activities that day unless a doctor’s excuse is presented.
6. On Wednesday, September 5th, Ripcho Studio will be at McCormick to take pictures. Please bring your completed form with payment on picture day to give to the photographer. You can also prepay for pictures online. Picture forms will be handed out today during homeroom.
7. Attention all 7th and 8th grade Academic Challenge Members, our first practice will be Wednesday from 2:45 - 3:30 in Mrs. Rowen's room, room 207. All members are expected to attend. See Mrs. Rowen if you have any questions.
8. Junior Honor Society members are reminded to give Mrs. Aber their officer self–nomination forms as soon as possible. Write your name and the office you would like to run for: President Vice-Presidents. Secretary, Treasurer. Give the paper to Mrs. Aber.
9. Tiger Cross Country runners had a great start to the season with boys placing 4th and girls 6th at the Seneca East invite. Top runners for the girls were Kennedy Schlessman, Jadyn Towns, Allie Blevins, and Morgan Shelton. Boys were led by Connor Schaeffer, Tyler Kohlmann, Luke Rager, and Grantham Brown. Both Connor and Kennedy had awards presented at the podium!
