1. Students are reminded to turn in the paperwork that was mailed home: Vaccination records for 7th grade, acceptable use policy, emergency medical and photo release.
2. Reminder to students going to the Library, Gathering Grounds, or other destinations after school: Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not cut through yards. Please use the sidewalks and go around the block.
3. Reminder that students must be at school by 7:59 in order to participate in extracurricular activities that day unless a doctor’s excuse is presented.
4. On Wednesday, September 5th, Ripcho Studio will be at McCormick to take pictures. Please bring your completed form with payment on picture day to give to the photographer. You can also prepay for pictures online. If you did not receive a picture form, ask your homeroom teacher for one. There are also extra forms in the office.
5. Attention student council members, our first meeting of the year will be held TODAY during 8th grade lunch in room 207. 8th grade members, once you have your lunch, come to Mrs. Rowen's room. 7th grade members, sign out from your homeroom and then report to room 207.
6. MJHS members - Sign-up sheets to sell tickets for the dance are in the office – Please sign up!
7. Attention 7th and 8th graders! The Beach Bash dance -- the first dance of the school year -- will be Friday, September 7th from 2:45 - 4:30 in the McCormick Gym. Tickets will go on sale for $5 on September 4th.
8. Power of the Pen will have its first meeting this Friday, right after school in Mrs. Aber's room, from 2:40 - 3:30. Power of the Pen is all about writing short stories to a prompt. Also, there are snacks. Hope to see you there.
9. The office has order forms available if you'd like to order a Crucial Catch t-shirt or Huron Tigers football apparel. Please return the order form to Lucky Stone to place your order.
