1. Congratulations to Stephen Demos and Ronnie Eytchison who qualified for
the state competition this past weekend in Berea at the Cleveland
Districts speech and debate tournament. They will be competing March 2nd and 3rd at the state tournament in the Policy Debate category against teams from throughout Ohio in Sylvania, Ohio.
2. On Tuesday of this week there will be a Student Cabinet meeting at noon in room 107.
3. The annual College Credit Plus meeting is tonight at 6pm at McCormick. Please be sure to attend this informative session if you are interested in taking CCP classes next year.
4. Huron Parks & Rec has job opportunities in the following areas for students that are at least 16 years old and have a valid Drivers License:
*Park Maintenance
*Ball Field Maintenance
*Boat Basin Dock Hands
*Nickel Plate Beach Attendant
*Swim Instructors/Life Guard

5. Seniors you have until February 15th
to submit applications for Honor Cords as well as verify the Top
10%, Honors Diploma and Diploma of Distinction lists that are posted in
the Counseling office. See Mrs Fahr with any questions.
6. Juniors who are interested in attending Buckeye Boys State of Buckeye Girls State during the week of June 10, please stop by room 206 to pick up information. All applications are due to Mrs. Merckens by Wednesday, February 7th.
7. Lunch today is double dog or footlong hot dogs.
