1. This Friday, January 12th, marks the end of second quarter. Grade cards will be withheld until fees are paid. Obligations will be observed throughout the school year.

2. Attention 7th and 8th graders interested in joining Coding Club: We start back up with Wednesday meetings from 2:45-4:00 next week. All are welcome to join. Don’t miss out on learning Swift Programming, controlling robots, and app development. Just show up ready to learn!

3. Are you interested in being a part of this year’s Yearbook staff? If so, there will be meetings next week for 7th grade in Mr. Maleski’s room on Tuesday, January 16th during lunch for those whose last names begin with A-L and on Wednesday, January 17th for those with last names beginning with M-Z. For 8th graders interested, the meetings will be in Mrs. Brown’s room for those with last names beginning with A-L on Tuesday, January 16th during lunch and M-Z will be on Wednesday, January 17th. You will first get your lunch and bring it with you to either Mr. Maleski’s or Mrs. Brown’s room. If you have any question, please see Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Brown.

4. Exam Cram at the Huron Public Library will continue this Wednesday and Thursday evening in the Quiet Reading room. Drinks and snacks will be provided as you prepare for your upcoming tests. Our study rooms are available also.

5. Teen writers have an opportunity to meet and work with local author Rob Smith as he presents "The Writer's Imagination" on Fridays, January 19, February 2 and 16, and March 2 at 3:30 pm. Want to work on your writing style and strength? Register on the Huron Public Library's website or call 419-433-5009.

6. Teen Library Council's January meeting has been moved to Sunday, January 21 at 1:30 pm.

7. Power of the Pen will meet Friday after school until 3:45. We have a new tournament date and will be competing with only a few schools. All writers are welcome.
