1. There will be a softball meeting today after school in the cafeteria for anyone interested in trying out.
2. Just Seth Foundation
- Scholarship award of $500 available to graduating high school seniors
pursuing post-secondary education in the behavioral health field. Stop
by the Counseling office for additional requirements and paper
applications. DEADLINE IS MARCH 16, 2018.
Democratic Women of Erie County - Scholarships
available to female residents of Erie County who demonstrate the
principals of the Democratic party. Stop into the HHS Counseling Office
for requirements and applications. Cover page must be submitted with
required essay and transcript. DEADLINE MARCH 9, 2018
Ohio Housing Authorities Conference Scholarship (OHAC) - Up
to six (6) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students in Ohio who
happen to reside in public housing or whose family receives housing
subsidy through the local Housing Choice Voucher program. Paper applications can be found outside the Counseling Office. Applicants should return their form to the Erie MHA office by Monday, February 26, 2018
3. The annual College Credit Plus meeting will be Monday, February 5th, at 6pm at McCormick. Please be sure to attend this informative session if you are intersted in taking CCP classes next year.
4. Seniors you have until February 15th
to submit applications for Honor Cords. Also be sure to check the Top
10%, Honors Diploma and Diploma of Distinction lists that are posted in
the Counseling office. See Mrs Fahr with any questions.
5. Juniors who are interested in attending Buckeye Boys State of Buckeye Girls State during the week of June 10, please stop by room 206 to pick up information. All applications are due to Mrs. Merckens by Wednesday, February 7th.
6. Baseball lifting Saturday at 9am in the high school weight room. Hitting will take place Sunday, February 4th at 4:30pm at Woodlands.
7. Lunch today is chili cheese fries or a chicken patty sandwich.
