1. Grade cards will be distributed this Friday. Make sure your fees are paid, overdue library books returned, lunch charges paid, so that your grade card is not withheld.

2. Reminder: Today you will report to your second semester classes and 3rd quarter elective classes.

3. Attention 7th and 8th graders interested in joining Coding Club: We start back up with Wednesday meetings from 2:45-4:00. All are welcome to join. Don’t miss out on learning Swift Programming, controlling robots, and app development. Just show up ready to learn!

4. Are you interested in being a part of this year’s Yearbook staff? If so, there will be meetings today for 7th grade in Mr. Maleski’s room during lunch for those with last names beginning with M-Z. For 8th graders interested, the meetings will be in Mrs. Brown’s room for those with last names beginning with M-Z today during lunch. You will first get your lunch and bring it with you to either Mr. Maleski’s or Mrs. Brown’s room. If you have any question, please see Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Brown.

5. Huron Public Library events this week: - Euchre Night – Wednesday, January 17th at 6:30pm.
- “The Writer’s Imagination” series begins Friday, January 19th at 3:30pm. Explore your writing style with local author, Rob Smith. Registration required.
- Teen Library Council meets Sunday, January 21st at 1:30pm.
- Scrabble Tournament, Saturday, February 3rd at 10pm. Registration required.
           
6. There is a Student Council meeting today during 8th grade lunch in room 207.

7. Power of the Pen will meet Friday after school until 3:45. All writers are welcome.
