On Tuesday, the boys golf team defeated Oak Harbor 174-183 to improve
their record to 3-4. The Tigers were led by Daniel Demos who shot a 39,
Brendan Kleist 41, Connor Kleist 46 and Nick Marksbury 48.
2. Huron girls tennis won 5-0 over Tiffin Calvert in a SBC Division match on Tuesday.

Attention Students interested in applying for the Student
Cabinet. There is a new updated application in the Counseling Office.
If you picked up an application, please stop down to the Counseling
office to make sure you have the correct one. Current cabinet members do not need reapply. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, September 7th.
4. Attention all students interested in speech and debate. Your interest forms are due to
Mr. Harkelroad in room 212 today. If you have not received a speech and debate interest form, you can pick one up from Mr. Harkelroad.
5. Any student interested in joining the yearbook staff, please come to an
informational meeting in Mrs. Lee's room (216) immediately after school today.
Specifically, the yearbook needs help with taking photos of activities
within the school during the year, gathering information, and providing
write-ups of sports and activities.

Attention ladies - do you like adventure? Here's your opportunity.
Huron First Presbyterian Church is starting an all-female Venturing
Crew. Venturing is a program through the Boy Scouts of America for
youth ages 14-21 (or 13 and completed the 8th grade). The program
operates Venturing Crews, units of youth and advisers that plan
activities and events. The types of activities and events are
determined by the crew members. They can include a wide variety of
adventures like camping, backpacking, zip lining, kayaking - the
possibilities are endless.
You
are invited to come check out our Venturing Crew 31 open house on
Monday, September 10. We will meet at 7:00pm at First Presbyterian
Church, 225 Williams St. If you are interested, but cannot attend or

of our underclassmen. Forms should be handed out in your first period
class today. Be sure to take those home to your parents and bring them
