WIS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good morning today is Wednesday, September 12, 2018

The lunch menu for today is: Walking Taco or a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. You also have the choice of any two or more of Fiesta Beans, Fresh Veggies with Ranch or Hummus Dip, Strawberries, Fresh Fruit, Fruit Juice and Milk

Let’s keep Rachel’s Challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts. Make sure you recognize those students that do kind acts by completing a chain link for them.

Our value word for the week is: Cheerfulness -  feeling or showing happiness, feeling or showing that you are willing to do something without complaining

William Scott Downey once said, “The difference between a wise and foolish man is this--the former sees much, thinks much, and speaks little; but the latter speaks more than he either sees or thinks.”

Woodlands students respect their educational environment. They make sure if they see a mess or trash laying around, they do their part by helping to pick or clean it up. Whether in the cafeteria, restroom, hallway or classroom do your part and help to keep our Woodlands home neat and orderly to support our learning environment.

There are several items in the lost and found already this year. Please stop and claim your items that you are missing.

The Huron Public Library is sponsoring many great programs this week. Tonight is Rockin’ Readers. Students will meet and discuss a book and snacks will be provided. Tomorrow the library will host Craft Corner where you will be able to design and make your very own creation out of duct tape. Contact the library to register for any of these awesome activities.

Reminder to all academic challenge members, practice will be held on Thursday rather than Tuesday this week.

The PTO Mumkin and Mumster fundraising forms are due Friday.
