1. The first school dance for the year will be held on Friday from 2:45 - 4:30. Tickets will be sold for $5.00 during lunch today through Friday. It will be called "One Last Luau" with a beachy end of summer theme so you are encouraged to wear Hawaiian shirts, hats, flip-flops or sandals and sunglasses to the dance. If you want to wear your hat, sunglasses and flip-flops during school on Friday, an additional $1 will be collected at the front entrance as you come in Friday morning, and your hand will be stamped to prove you've paid for the privilege. Funds collected Friday morning will head to the Houston Food Pantry which has gotten an A+ score for its charitable work.
