Homecoming tickets are on sale during lunches in the cafeteria. Tickets
are $10 each. If you are bringing someone who does not attend HHS,
forms must be turned in when purchasing the tickets. These forms are
available outside the high school office and include an emergency
medical and a paper that needs to be signed by the guest parent and
their principal.
3. Students serving on the Superintendent cabinet - our first meeting of the year will be Friday @ 12:00 in room 107. Lunch is provided.
4. Seniors: There will be a college application meeting tonight for your parents at 7:00pm in the Tiger Union.

Presale tickets for Friday's home football game vs Willard are on sale
in the high school office. Presale tickets are $5. All tickets at the
gate will be $6.
6. Teen Leadership Corp is collecting practical items to aide in the relief efforts for Hurricane Harvey. We ask that you bring new sharpies and masking tape to Mrs. Bender’s room. The collection drive ends Friday, September 15th. Please help us aide those devastated in Houston.
7. Student
Council is conducting a fundraiser to help raise money for the Texas
Diaper bank (for Hurricane Harvey victims) during your first period. The winning class will receive donuts. The last day is this Wednesday, 9/13.
8. Teen Library Council at the Huron Public Library has its first meeting of the year this Friday, September 15 at 3 pm. This meeting is extremely important so members are highly encouraged to attend.
Chess meets
at the Library on Sunday, September 17 at 1 pm. New and seasoned players of all ages are welcome. No
registration necessary.
Reminder: Chapter Chat meets next Monday, September 18 at 2:30 pm in the Tiger Union. The book this month is
All We Have Left by Wendy Mills.
Game Nights at the Library are the first through third Tuesdays at 6 pm. No registration necessary.
9. Attention: Anyone interested in joining Huron's NEW speech and debate
club will need to report for a BRIEF meeting, directly after school Monday, September 18th, in the Union. Those who cannot attend will need to let Mr. Lamb know they are interesting in joining the speech and debate club before Monday, September 18th.

"A Crucial Catch" fundraiser t-shirt forms are available in the high
school office if you are interested in ordering one. The shirts will be
worn for the October 6th game vs Oak Harbor. Orders must be submitted
to Lucky Stone by September 19th! All proceeds go to the American
Cancer Society!
