1. Reminder that students must be at school by 7:59 in order to participate in extracurricular activities that day unless a doctor’s excuse is presented. Any questions, see Mr. Carter.
2. Remember this week is Spirit Week. Currently Mrs. Aber and Mrs. Brown's homerooms are in the lead. Today is superhero day, tomorrow is jersey day, and Friday is red and gray day. We also have a wagon parade planned for Friday so continue to show your school spirit and McCormick pride!
3. On Tuesday, September 26th, Ripcho Studio will be at McCormick to take pictures. Picture forms were handed out in homeroom. If you did not get one, there are extra copies in the office.
4. Students who have signed up for the Martian book club should remember to meet on Friday, during lunch, in Mrs. LaCrosse's room. Bring your lunch, the book, and be ready for discussion up to chapter 8. We will also have a fun Martian treat! See you Friday, during lunch.
5. Craft Corner at the Huron Public Library features a hoots and tweets Doodle Birds drawing session on Thursday, September 14 at 4:30 pm for grades 3 through 12. Registration required.
Teen Library Council at the Huron Public Library has its first meeting of the year this Friday, September 15 at 3 pm. This meeting is extremely important so members are highly encouraged to attend.
Chess meets at the Library on Sunday, September 17 at 1 pm. New and seasoned players of all ages are welcome. No registration necessary.
Game Nights at the Library are the first through third Tuesdays at 6 pm. No registration necessary.
