  1. 1.   Remember this week is Spirit Week.  Today is red and gray day.  We also have a wagon parade planned for today so continue to show your school spirit and McCormick pride!

    2.    On Tuesday, September 26th, Ripcho Studio will be at McCormick to take pictures.  Picture forms were handed out in homeroom.  If you did not get one, there are extra copies in the office.  You can also order on-line at https://orders.ripchostudio.com/login_shoot?shoot_key=7ZX8H95P

    3.    Students who have signed up for the Martian book club should remember to meet today, during lunch, in Mrs. LaCrosse's room. Bring your lunch, the book, and be ready for discussion up to chapter 8. We will also have a fun Martian treat! See you Friday, during lunch.

    4.    Next Friday, September 22, is our first scheduled 2 hour delayed start.  Information was handed out in homeroom.

    5.    Congratulations to the 8th grade volleyball team who crushed Vermilion last night in two games. Great job girls!

    6.    Any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in attending a Women in STEM conference, that did not come to the meeting yesterday, please see Mrs. James today after announcements.

    7.    Teen Library Council at the Huron Public Library has its first meeting of the year today at 3 pm. This meeting is extremely important so members are highly encouraged to attend.

    Chess meets at the Library on Sunday, September 17 at 1 pm. New and seasoned players of all ages are welcome. No registration necessary.

    Game Nights at the Library are the first through third Tuesdays at 6 pm. No registration necessary.
