Announcements - Thursday, 3/1/18

Next week Student Council will be holding a coin drive fundraiser for
an organization that aids foster children when they are first removed
from their homes. The first period classroom that raises the most money
will win a pizza party.
2. It was a tie for best attendance yesterday between the Freshmen and
the Juniors. Freshman you are still ahead by one day. There are 17
more days in Quarter 3 so it's any class's race.
3. On March 10th,
TLC will be hosting a masquerade Spring formal. Tickets will be $10
each and masquerade masks will be handed out at the door. The dance
will be held in the high school gymnasium from 8pm-10pm.
Tickets will be on sale next week. No tickets will be sold at
the door! If you are bringing someone who does not attend HHS, you
will need to have the proper paperwork filled out and turned in when you
purchase your ticket. The papers are located outside the high school
office.

TLC is collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in order to
raise money for childhood cancer. Please help us out by collecting pop
tabs and dropping them off in the office or in Mrs. Bender's room before
April 13th. Thank you for your efforts!
5. The free self-defense class for senior girls will be held on Thursday, March 8th, at 3pm in the wrestling room off the high school band room. Please wear comfortable, modest clothing and tennis shoes. Sign up sheets are in the high school office if you are interested.
6. 2018 football cheer tryouts will be held on Monday, March 5th through Wednesday, March 7th from 4pm until 6pm
in the high school gymnasium. Tryout packets are available in the high
school office. All forms need to be submitted on Monday, 3/5, in order
to participate. (These dates are subject to change if Varsity boys
basketball are still in the playoffs)
7. Cedar Point's open house is Sunday, March 4, from 2-5 pm at Castaway Bay where they will be offering on-site interviews and job offers.
8. Registration for Huron Baseball Softball Program will have sign-ups on Sunday, March 4, at the Huron Eagles Club. For more information please stop in the high school office.
9. Lunch today is a buffalo chicken wrap.
