1. The Perkins Pirate Middle Schoolers are hosting a chess tournament for all area 6th, 7th and 8th graders on Saturday, March 10th at 9am at Briar Middle School. The tournament will be double elimination and free to all participants.

2. TLC is collecting Pop Tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in order to raise money for Childhood Cancer. Please help us out by collecting pop tabs and dropping them off at the Public Library, or the High School, McCormick, or Woodlands Office before April 13th. Thank You for your efforts!

3. Incoming Freshman students interested in cheering for football for the 2018 season, please stop in the office and pick up a try-out information packet. Tryouts are March 5th – March 7th.

4. Reminder that this Friday, March 2nd, is a scheduled 2 hour delay.

5. Are you and your parents taking extra time off during Spring Break? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence, so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

6. 8th grade students: Your signed Course Registration sheets are due Monday, March 5th.

7. A reminder for anyone interested in playing freshman football next year, the Weight Lifting Orientation is tonight at 7PM at the Huron High School Cafeteria for you and a parent. Actual weight lifting will begin on Tuesday March 6th at 7PM.
