1. The Perkins Pirate Middle Schoolers are hosting a chess tournament for all area 6th, 7th and 8th graders on Saturday, March 10th at 9am at Briar Middle School. The tournament will be double elimination and free to all participants.

2. TLC is collecting Pop Tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in order to raise money for Childhood Cancer. Please help us out by collecting pop tabs and dropping them off at the Public Library, or the High School, McCormick, or Woodlands Office before April 13th. Thank You for your efforts!

3. Are you and your parents taking extra time off during Spring Break? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence, so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

4. 8th grade students: Your signed Course Registration sheets are due to the office if you have not already turned them in to Mrs. Fahr. 

5. Weight lifting for 8th graders playing football next year will begin TODAY at 7PM at the High School Weight Room. We will also lift on Thursday, March 8th, at 5PM to accommodate band students and those wishing to attend the high school basketball game.

6. There will be a student council meeting tomorrow during 8th grade lunch in Mrs. Rowen' room - all members are expected to attend.

7. Volunteers are needed to work with special needs children and siblings at the North Force Sports Camp this summer. If interested, please get a Student Volunteer Application from the office.
