1. The Perkins Pirate Middle Schoolers are hosting a chess tournament for all area 6th, 7th and 8th graders on Saturday, March 10th at 9am at Briar Middle School. The tournament will be double elimination and free to all participants.

2. Attention any 8th graders interested in playing football next year. There will be a mandatory meeting today at 2:35PM in the auditorium. Coach Hohler will be stopping by to hand out information about the weight lifting program. The meeting will be very brief. Hope to see you there!

3. TLC is collecting Pop Tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in order to raise money for Childhood Cancer. Please help us out by collecting pop tabs and dropping them off at the Public Library, or the High School, McCormick, or Woodlands Office before April 13th. Thank You for your efforts!

4. Incoming 7th and 8th grade students interested in cheering for football for the 2018 season; Clinics and Tryouts will be held at Huron High School today through Wednesday 2/28 from 430pm until 6pm. Paperwork can be picked up in the office. All paperwork must be completed and submitted on the first day of cheer clinic in order to participate.

5. Incoming Freshman students interested in cheering for football for the 2018 season, please stop in the office and pick up a try-out information packet.

6. If you have a sports locker decoration on your locker and would like to keep it, please take it home by the end of the day today. Anything left on the lockers after today will be removed and thrown away by the custodians.

7. Reminder that this Friday, March 2nd, is a scheduled 2hour delay.

8. Are you and your parents taking extra time off during Spring Break? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence, so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.
