Announcements - Tuesday, 4/24/18

1.  Student Body President and Student Body Vice President petitions are available in the high school office.

2.  Firelands Regional Medical Center is looking for volunteers to work in their gift shops at both campuses.  If you are interested, please see Mrs. Fahr in the Counseling Office for the contact person.
 
3.  Attention Volunteers: The Huron Library is seeking volunteers to assist with moving furniture and equipment TODAY (Tuesday) after school. Librarians can offer community service credit for your help. If interested, please meet at the Library at 3pm to speak with Benjamin.

4.  Huron boys tennis won a hard fought match against Fremont St. Joe 3-2 yesterday. Huron improves to 7-1 and 5-1 in SBC Bay division.

5.  Attention any boy interested in playing basketball next year, there is a mandatory meeting this Thursday right after school in Coach Schaeffer’s Rm 207.


6.  Attention students and staff who haven't already ordered a 2017-2018 yearbook. The deadline to order a yearbook is Friday, May 18. Either order one online by visiting jostensyearbooks.com, or bring a check in to Mrs. Lee, made out to Huron High School, for $65.  
 
7.  Huron High School will be having a 2-hour delay this Wednesday (4/25) for students not taking American History and American Government.  Students must arrive to the test on time.  Students will not be allowed to enter the testing room late.  Buses will run at normal times.  Students arriving before 9:25 will be asked to wait in the cafeteria and the gym.

8. The Teen Library Council meeting for April is Wednesday, April 25, at 3 pm.  All members are encouraged to attend to plan for the May 5 after-hours Cinco de Mayo event.
 

9.  Lunch today is a bacon cheeseburger.
