1. Perkins Briar Middle School is hosting their 2nd Chess Tournament Saturday, March 16th. Doors open at 8:30am for registration. All area chess players in grades 3 through 12 are invited.

2. Today, Phil Brickner from Brewer Garrett, will be our Future Friday’s presenter. Students are reminded to check in with study hall and wait to be called to the auditorium.

3. REMINDER: 2018-19 Yearbook orders must be submitted by February 24th. Order online or give the order forms with payment to Mr. Roth in the morning, or Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Brown.

4. If you would like to place a Scholastic book order, or take a flyer home, please see your Language Arts teacher, Mrs. LaCrosse, or Mrs. James. There are a lot of bonus offers this month! Online ordering information is available with the flyers. Paper orders must be given to Mrs. James by TODAY.

5. Students interested in playing baseball or softball through the Huron Baseball Softball Program, please pick up a registration packet in the office. Registration is on Sunday, March 3rd from 1pm – 4pm at the Huron Eagles Club.

6. There is Girls Open Soccer in the high school gym this Sunday from 1-2:30.

7. STEAM club will meet on Wednesday, February 27, in Mr. Haplea's room, from 2:45-4:15. All are welcome and bring a friend!

8. Student Council will meet on Wednesday, February 27th in Mrs. Rowen's room. 

9. Anyone interested in playing Freshman Football next season, there is a meeting on Monday, February 25th at 2:30pm in the auditorium. Coach Hohler will be here to discuss the weight lifting orientation and answer any questions about the program.
10. Power of the Pen will NOT be meeting today.

11. If you have a sports locker decoration on your locker and would like to keep it, please take it home by the end of the day. Anything left on the lockers will be removed and thrown away by the custodians.

12. If you enjoy reading and would like to join a book group at the Huron Public Library, we have groups for every grade. Cover to Cover, led by the Teen Library Council, is a book group for grade s 7 & 8.

If you are interested in a group or would like to suggest a book for the group to read, please visit the Library website, keep an eye out for our Spring Newsletter, or stop by the library and speak to a friendly librarian!
